JANETTE SCOTT
Janette Scott is an independent communications consultant, editor and writer.
As a consultant, Janette works on strategic communications, international, national and regional PR campaigns and marketing projects, with galleries and arts centres, museums and heritage, commissioning agencies and festivals presenting visual art, photography, film, architecture, craft, design, sound and music and other creative disciplines. She has worked in the arts for twenty years, including senior communications roles at South London Gallery, Artangel and The Photographer' Gallery. As an editor, Janette has recently worked with the arts and social justice project Idle Women, editing a graphic novel by Candice Purwin, Idle Women on the Water: A brick-throwin', hijab-wearin', hairy-legged, space takin' odyssey, published in November 2020. She has also edited websites for South London Gallery, Haarlem Artspace, Idle Women, Artangel and Lighthouse, and managed other editorial including artist statements and essays. Janette is a fledgling writer on subjects relating to culture. nature and nurture. |
